Here is a video I created in September last year for L’Archivio Diaristico Nazionale (The National Archive of Diaries). It’s in Italian, of course, but subtitles can be found using YouTube’s caption service.

The archive was created thirty years ago in Pieve Santo Stefano, Arezzo, thanks to journalist Saverio Tutino. This video was created specifically for the 29th edition of the prize, a three day annual festival (and ceremony to announce the winners) which celebrates the value in Italian memory, first person recount and storytelling. September 2014 will mark the 30th anniversary of The National Archive of Diaries, and the 30th edition of the prize itself.
